Move with Intention: An Introduction to the Steel Mace

Modern strength meets an ancient weapon.

Ever seen a steel mace and wondered what it's actually for? It's an offset weighted tool — originally used for centuries to train for battle — that's become one of the most effective ways to build functional strength while improving mobility and control. For women in midlife especially, it's one of the most powerful tools for improving strength, bone density, and stability — though this workshop is open to anyone curious to try it.

In this session, we'll bring the steel mace together with yoga — blending strength, mobility, and functional fitness with breath and mindful movement.

Participants will spend 75 minutes together moving through beginner-friendly movements designed to help you feel strong and steady.

No previous experience needed, and no mace required. Maces (5lbs and 7lbs) will be available for the session. Early sign-up is required to ensure everyone is matched with a mace they can work with safely.

Limited to 16 spots.
